The
MTG Winter Doubles League (WDL) is our largest event of the winter season and one of the most anticipated programs of the year. Spots fill quickly—often with a waitlist shortly after registration opens.
WDL brings together players of all levels for a season of doubles, community, and great competition—giving members something to look forward to all winter long.
What It Is
- A season-long doubles league running from November through March
- Hosted at the iconic USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center
- Open to all levels, with divisions based on playing ability
- ~96 players each season, making it one of MTG’s biggest community events
How It Works
- Sign up with a partner—or we’ll help match you with one
- Any two players can team up (no gender restrictions)
- Each team plays 7 scheduled matches across the season
- Matches are 2 hours long, typically Sunday evenings
- Match times rotate between early and late evening slots
- Some divisions may use a rotating partner format to keep play social and dynamic
