MTG Winter Doubles League (WDL)

The MTG Winter Doubles League (WDL) is our largest event of the winter season and one of the most anticipated programs of the year. Spots fill quickly—often with a waitlist shortly after registration opens.

WDL brings together players of all levels for a season of doubles, community, and great competition—giving members something to look forward to all winter long.

What It Is

  • A season-long doubles league running from November through March
  • Hosted at the iconic USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center
  • Open to all levels, with divisions based on playing ability
  • ~96 players each season, making it one of MTG’s biggest community events

How It Works

  • Sign up with a partner—or we’ll help match you with one
  • Any two players can team up (no gender restrictions)
  • Each team plays 7 scheduled matches across the season
  • Matches are 2 hours long, typically Sunday evenings
  • Match times rotate between early and late evening slots
  • Some divisions may use a rotating partner format to keep play social and dynamic
