• This documentary is the true story of trans athletes’ struggle for acceptance in sports and society overall, centering around MMA fighter Alana McLaughlin.
  
   UNFIGHTABLE SYNOPSIS

  The real fight is outside the ring. Alana is a transgender woman entering the hostile MMA world. Following a tragic childhood and serving in the US Special Forces, Alana transitioned and found community in Portland. After fighting her entire life, Alana is ready to fight professionally. She’s been attacked on the street and had guns shoved in her face, makes swords and knives, and fought in Afghanistan. She’s learned to expect violence around every corner. Unfightable is the story of transgender women’s right to fight and the extraordinary courage it takes to demand that people see you as you.
