MTG Club Championships

The 2008 MTG Club Championships will run over Memorial Day Weekend: play commences at 8 AM Saturday, May 24th; finals are scheduled for Monday, May 26th. All matches will be played at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Directions to the USTA by public transportation or by car can be found here. Marsha Day Memorial Fund:

The proceeds of our Club Championships benefit the Marsha Day Memorial Fund, which honors the life and work of Marsha Day, a community activist and former MTG Board Member. The Foundation carries on the work of Marsha who was dedicated to working on behalf of runaway and homeless youths, people living with HIV/AIDS, women, and the poor. Additional donations can be made at time of payment. For more information visit the Astraea Foundation.

Registration:

Participation in the MTG Club Championships is open to all current members. Our membership annum runs from September 1st through August 31st. Before the registration process, please make sure that your membership status is up to date. Membership dues can be paid below with your Club Champsionship registration.

This year we will be using TournamentSoftware, the new GLTA registration software, for the application process. Please read this section carefully. The application process is in two parts: first, please click on the Application link to be taken to the online application at TournamentSoftware.com (you cannot make payment online at that site); after completing the online application, return to this page to the payment section below. Registration is not complete until after payment has been received.

More information can be read from the pdf version of the application. We recommend registering using the online application software. However, you may alternatively chose to fill and mail-in the print application.
